Three days of Mola Mola and Manta rays
in Bali is what seven happy Thai divers have just experienced.
The divers from Freedom Dive in Thailand came over to Bali with the sole purpose of diving with the Sunfish and the Manta rays that inhabit the waters around Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Cenningan.
The conditions for Mola Mola were not the best although the guys did manage to capture a few good shots of the Sunfish. You can see some of there pictures here. The Sunfish were a little bit shy over the last few days although they still managed to see them. You can never see enough of the Mola Mola so I am sure they will be back for more next year.
The Manta rays were not shy at all though. On the second day at Manta point they had up to 15 Manta at any one time. The conditions were the normal choppy waters that are typical of Manta point plus the not so fantastic visibility.
The Manta’s didn’t mind the conditions as they drifted by to feed and be cleaned. They were very happy to pose for a number of shots from our enthusiastic underwater photographers.
On the third and final day the divers journeyed up to Tulamben to visit the USS Liberty wreck. Of course they did not see any Sunfish or Manta's, they did manage to see a huge variety of superb marine life.
Have a look at a few more of their photos form their dive trip to Bali.
